protection and traditional native values. He uses his many talents
in music, writing, photography, movie production and lecturing to
deliver his messages across North America and the world.
Flute man for the Northern Cheyenne People, the lineage of the flute
music flows through him to the future. Joseph has multiple NAMI
Awards and a 2007 GRAMMY Nomination.
The American Indian Institute is a non-Indian Circle that provides
administrative, fund development and program support to advance
the work and vision of the Traditional Circle of Elders and Youth.
It is based not in a geographic community, but in a community of
interest — non-Indians dedicated to the survival of indigenous
heritages and to the support of the traditional people through whom
that survival will be achieved.
