Cocooning, Confusion, Clarity.. ~ Rainy

Cocooning, confusion, clarity….Well only a little clarity...

Dear Friends of the Garden,

Its summer here in New York, we’ve had lots of rain and everything is green and overgrowing. Here though in the lumimous garden it’s been quiet, the blog entries and messages are piling up, just waiting for me to get to it… so what’s going on?

I have been and really still am in a deep quiet space, its been for a while now and I thought I’d offer a bit of an explanation for my absence in case anyone was wondering. Especially I want to share some about this experience as I feel others may have gone or will go through something similar. (Read more…)

We Are Living the Change, how? ~ Rainy

Ok so, WE ARE LIVING THE CHANGE,  but HOW?

Many people have been making changes in life styles, consumption practices, attitudes toward others, nature, business, money, faith and more as the truth of how out of balance humans have become on this planet. There are intentional communities all over the Earth. In every town there are some who have been heeding the call. However, everyone even those not conscious of it have an area of expertise or something valuable to teach in these times… we are all needed, as the dominant consumer societies convert to more balanced living.

THIS IS POSSIBLE! (Read more…)

Ganbare! The people of Japan ~ Rainy

Learn from the people of Japan ~ GANBARE ~ “hang in there” and much more.

First, The hearts of the world are praying deeply for you, the people of Japan. You shine bright to us all, your strength, your beauty, your support to each other, in this catastrophe time.

AGAIN upon  Mother Earth our global family witnesses and weeps for a nation devastated, torn to the core. We see images and hear the stories. How many times now has something like this happened…. the eyes of the world watching.

Help gathering and being sent to assist…911, Katrina, the Christmas Indonesian Tsunami, Haiti, China, Chile, New Zealand… the Gulf, countless small events… the Chilean and other mining events, floods in Italy… to many cataclysms to name. (Read more…)

Brothers, Sisters, Luminous Hearts, some thoughts ~ Rainy

Gratitude and thanks given to the Creator…

How many Prayers for Peace, for how many years have been offered? How many peace and freedom songs song, how many chants for Beauty, for healing? Countless people across the world at sacred fires, temples, churches, mosques, hogans, fields, kitchen tables, bedrooms – holding the vision of harmony and balance restored on Earth, for how many centuries? Growing Good Missions ~ Rainy

Spreading the word about the good things on Earth is needed.

Hi Everyone,

I’m beginning a new project for the garden blog, I guess you could say, starting another garden. It will be called Growing Good Missions. It will be added as a category in the right hand bar of the blog and in a new area on the forum. There are thousands of people with so many great projects around the world. We can weave the net of light with more strands every time we acknowledge them and the missions they are growing. I’m sure some will be well known to many of you, others may not yet have crossed your radar or are sweet small grass roots efforts great to give exposure too. (Read more…)

JOY of Movement; Deconstruction – Reconstruction ~ Rainy, a personal view

JOY of Movement reflected in the mirrors,  Deconstructing and Reconstructing inner and out worlds.

Hi Everyone,

Well I’m finally resurfacing from months and months filled with changes, just like the title says deconstruction ~ reconstruction and a lot of driving. All of which kept me off the net and barely having time to think, but I loved it and it feels perfect, a mirror of what our society and planet are going though.

One story…. we have a family home in North Carolina, empty since we’ve began trying to sell it in March. Great home, low price, lots of upgrades and no buyers. A way too common happening in our country now. So this home that held lots of love has turned to an empty house and all the family can’t wait to get rid of it…. it no longer serves us but we still have to put time and energy into it, ugh! Sound familiar? For instance, not unlike the need to jettison our countries failing energy systems. Something that once served us so well has to be let go of, sacrifices made and new solutions found.
