Shadows are Rattling Loudly These Days ~ Rainy

Shadows are Rattling Loudly These Days ~ thoughts on polarity

As the Northern Hemisphere of Earth is cycling toward the darkest longest night people are preparing celebrations for the return cycle of the Sun’s light, a micro mirror of a larger cycle known as the Shift of the Ages. Cycles in cycles as Gregg Braden and others have said. Today many people are familiar with the 2012 galactic event and are lighting up the dark messages of fear offering messages of hope and casting off the misnomer the “end of the world” that some still hawk.

These sparkles of light are growing just like the strings of holiday lights in dwellings across the lands. They bring a message of potential good change. Perhaps you have observed for many years during the holy season, a huge increase in the display of holiday lights. One could say it is only due to the newer style of lights, much easier to handle, less cost in the purchase and more energy efficient. Lights are being used more and more all year too for other holidays and even just for making a place look inviting at anytime. Could there be another reason we see more lights? (Read more…)

The Shift * thoughts on preparation ~ Denise Troyer

Lately I have been feeling the importance of preparation to enable ease and grace for when/if the shift takes place.  If as some have predicted it comes with darkness or loss of senses it would probably be initially frightening to us.  So what is the best way to handle it?  As humans we have an ingrained “flight/fight” response to any perceived danger.  In a sense our bodies even react this way to stress.  It dumps in the adrenaline and if there isn’t the physical activity to follow, it becomes unprocessed so to speak.  I know I involuntarily startle to lots of things daily… someone walking up to me while I’m doing something and not paying attention, thinking someone is going to change lanes into my car, and on and on.  Each time I react with a gasp and feel that “dump”.  I’ve decided I want to train myself not to react that way.  I think it is a practical application for everyone in their everyday lives as well. Mayan Message for the World ~ 2012

About 2012 from Mayan Messenger ~ Wandering Wolf

Wandering Wolf’s Message                                                       of March 17, 2009
Grandfather Cirilo Perez Oxlaj’s Mayan name is Wakatel Utiw, which means “Wandering Wolf” in his native language. He is regarded as the Voice of the Jungle and the Messenger of the Maya, but we know him as Grandfather Cirilo.

This article is an excerpt from Grandfather’s talk he gave in Antigua Guatemala
addressing a group on a sacred pilgrimage arranged by Aluna Joy: www.alunajoy.com.

“Well my dear brothers and sisters. Welcome to the Maya land in Guatemala.

I could ask you “What are you doing in Guatemala?” But then you could ask me the same thing when I over there in the States, “What are you doing here?” Because each one of us, we travel to different parts of the world. But what are we looking for? We are looking for love and understanding among all beings that inhabit the Earth. We are searching for something in our minds for what we can do to defend Mother Earth, because we see that we are leaving a world that is very contaminated now. (Read more…)

2012 and the Emergence of Divine Light ~ Kiara Windrider

2012 and the Emergence of Divine Light       by Kiara Windrider   October 8, 2008

What on Earth is going on? Amidst ecological ruin,  financial collapse, political breakdowns, and social upheavals around the world, can we look for clear signs of optimism and hope?

It seems clear to me that if something does not radically change on our planet soon, we are doomed to go the way of the dinosaurs.  Whether we go out with a big bang in some sort of cataclysmic event, or go out with a whimper slowly suffocating in our own wastes, may not make much of a difference. Do you consider the Earth a conscious being? ~ Rainy

Do you consider the Earth a conscious being?

Years ago when I heard the question, “Can you imagine how much patience it must take to incarnate as a planet?” it completely solidified for me my belief that the Earth was a highly evolved being.  The phrase Mother Earth has been part of our common language but how many mainstream culture people really believe this?  Our actions of disrespect and abuse to the planet would signify….not many.

What is it that happens to us? As children we easily accept that all is alive and has spirit and then its like a shroud builds around our heart and mind and we forget.  Once we have forgotten it becomes so easy to take what we want from this beautiful being with no respect or understanding that she has a life and a balance to keep, just like our own human bodies.

The predicted Earth changes are upon us. We didn’t listen and get our act together soon enough to avert her purge of our sick energy.  The changes are not just earthquakes and tsunamis but the crumbling of our modern society including religious institutions.  Are any of us untouched by the economic collapse?  How many do you know who have some kind of aliment, even teens are plagued by allergies and learning and attention problems. Then there are the big things like aids, cancers and famine, it goes on and on.

There are many things we can do to change the flow of energy at this critical time.  I propose we start a dialogue and build an action list. Share ideas on simple doable things. If we look at the big picture it’s easy to slip into fear and apathy but if each of us changes just a few behaviors it will build momentum for the pendulum to swing back from the precipice we have brought it too. We’ve seen the mushroom of the green movement and we can do so much more. Only humans can correct the mistakes we have made.

I’ll begin the list with two simple things that cost nothing, need no special equipment and take little time: – touching the Earth with reverence and love, just like you would touch your child to brush the hair from their eyes, a simple loving touch – as often as you wish.  Have you ever done this?  Indigenous people believe the Earth feels our emotions, that the touch of every step is communication with her. It’s time that all peoples recognize this. The other is smile and make a pleasant comment to a stranger, like someone in the market or on the bus. Shedding our invisibility allows our light to shine more, renewing and strengthening not only the Earth but those around us.

Please add your thoughts about the Earth as a conscious being and too any ideas for actions to show our Earth we truly care about her and are changing our disharmonious habits.

With respect and love to you all, Rainy
